Welcome to Aquatic Biology's online manuscript submission and peer-review system
ANNOUNCING THE RETURN TO CONTINUOUS LINE NUMBERS
***For authors, reviewers, and editors***: Please note that we are changing our line numbering policy. We are returning to using continuous line numbers in manuscript submissions rather than line numbers restarting on each page (which we had to introduce previously for technical reasons). During the initial phase after the policy update, some manuscripts may still use restarting line numbers. We hope for your understanding during this transition period. ***For authors***: Please ensure in revision submissions that your manuscript with tracked changes showing is submitted in PDF format. Otherwise, continuous line numbers may look different on the various systems used by reviewers and editor. Transition Period: If you have already completed your revision and response letter based on line numbers restarting on each page, we will of course accept this format, i.e. there is no need to update the line number references in your response letter. [posted September 2021] COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT - WE CONTINUE TO WORK! We would like to inform all our authors, reviewers and editors that we continue to work (mostly from home) during the Covid-19 pandemic. We understand that everyone's life is impacted by the situation and that revising, reviewing and processing decisions for manuscripts may take longer than usual. We have decided to continue our regular timeline and reminder schedule for the review process for the time being. We will not hold it against anyone if they take longer than usual to respond or decline an invitation more often than usual. If you have the chance to inform us in advance about expected delays in completing a task or about times of unavailability, we would appreciate this very much. We hope that you can stay healthy and safe during the pandemic! With warm regards, The AB Team [posted March 2020] |
